After eleven successful years of the guitar-buildung course on Formentera
we feel confident enough to offer our unique course to an englishspeaking clientel.
Firstly we offer our original Formentera models, the "San Fernando"-guitar,
the "San Francisco"-bass or the "Impala", but of course traditional models such as the "Strat"
and the "Les Paul" are realistic choices. Both, bolt on and glued necks are possible.
The guitar necks will be crafted from either finest canadian hardrock maple
or selected mahagony which is also used for the bodys.
For the basses we prefer to use assorted maples and bubinga
(other woods are available upon request).
You will make the fingerboard from indian rosewood or,
in the case of fretless basses, african ebony.
Different scales are available.
As a standard feature on all instruments highest quality hardware
and two selfwound pickups are the norm
